If your child tests positive for COVID, please email me, Megan Bohnet, at [email protected] and your coach, immediately.

Otherwise, if your child is required to quarantine at school due to possible exposure you will need to do the following:

1. On the day that you have been notified of a COVID exposure, email me, Megan Bohnet  ([email protected]) and your coach the day your child is instructed to quarantine.
   
   The email should include:
   • Childs name
   • Coaches name and team name
   • Date quarantine started along with the email from principal or photo of letter
     
     
2. If you have notified Truckee Little League on the day or day after of your notification of quarantine, then the child should take a COVID test 5 days post exposure.  IF YOU HAVE DELAYED NOTIFYING TRUCKEE LITTLE LEAGUE, then the child should take the test 5 days post notification of TLL.  We are setting up the requirements this way to encourage notification as soon as possible.  We are a volunteer organization and want to encourage prompt notification of the coach and safety officer because it helps us to understand the scope of the players affected at the soonest possible time.
   
   Once the results come back please send the following to [email protected] (and cc your coach):

• Childs name
• Coaches name and team name
• Date Quarantine started
• Date test was done
• Photo of results (if Bimax or other rapid test) or pdf of lab results

We hope this allows more kids to safely participate while minimizing exposure risk to other kids.
