Truckee Little League is for boys and girls ages four through fourteen.

When does registration for Spring Little League 2022 Open? 
Registration for Spring Little League 2022 is now open. Registration opened on January 31, 2022.

When are try-outs for Spring Little League 2022? 
Try-outs for Spring Little League on the following dates: 
* Minors Try-outs: March 15, 2022
* Majors Try-outs: March 18, 2022
* Make Up Try-outs for all levels: March 19, 2022
* Juniors Try-outs (If needed): March 22, 2022

When is opening day for Spring Little League 2022?
Open Day for Spring Little League will be on April 23rd. More information will be posted as details are finalized. 

When do practices for Spring Little League 2022 start? 
Practices for Spring Little League start on the following days. This schedule assumes the snow will be melted and we will be able to have field time by these dates. 
* Juniors, Majors and Minors: March 28, 2022 (first 2 weeks in Reno)
* AAA and AA: April 18, 2022
* Rookies and T-Ball: April 23, 2022

When is the final day of Spring Little League 2022? 
The Championship for Majors and Minors will on June 17, 2022. That is officially the last day of the spring season. 

What gear is needed for Spring Little League 2022? 
All players need to own a baseball glove. We recommend players having their own helmet and bat to avoid sharing equipment, especially for AAA and above. Only USABat bat models can be used in Little League.  

What days does each division practice? 
Schedules for Little League will be set by mid-April. That is the time in which we will have confirmation on field time and locations. It is likely that divisions AA, AAA, Minors, Majors and Juniors will practice twice a week and have two games a week. T-ball will have combined practice/games on one weekday and Saturday and Rookies will be held every Saturday. 

 Can I make a request for my child to be on the same team as their friend? 
It is simply too difficult for us to friend requests as we form teams.  If two parents volunteer to manage/coach together for AAA and below then their children will be placed on the same team.

How do I know if I registered my child for the correct division?

What is the refund policy? 
We offer a full refund minus $10 through March 11th for division AA and higher and through April 1st for Rookies and T-ball. After those dates, no refunds are offered.

If I want to umpire or my child wants to umpire what do I need to do? 
Please sign up via the registration or Volunteer Opportunities under the Registration info tab.

What type of volunteer opportunities do you offer through Little League? 
There are multiple ways to get involved with Truckee Little League. Truckee Little League is run solely by volunteers. We are always looking for more people to get involved. Opportunities include but are not limited to: managing a team, scorekeeping, being on the board, as well as ad-hoc volunteer needs. You can sign up when you register your child or through the volunteer tab at www.truckeelittleleague.com.

Will there be Covid restrictions in 2022?
We do not know whether there will be restrictions by the start of the season but will continue to follow CDPH guidelines for team play.
